    Over the last acouple months with the pending release of new models, the prices of current models have been droping. Will the prices continue to drop? When would be the best time to buy to get the best deal?

    when a model starts dropping price because of a new model's release it's time to buy. waiting and waiting for the price to drop more will burn you because everybody will have bought the last ones while you were asking when to buy on nbr.

    i suppose ur right.. im looking at a t61p and i dont think there coming out with a replacement right away tho..

    It would be at least a month for the W500 to come out, the performance wise it's not that much better anyway. Some cool features might worth the price for some people, and if you need a laptop now, just get it now.

    Glad you're able to see it. When I go to lenovo.com (US site), where the T-series page used to show T61 14.1" & 15.4", plus T61p 15.4", now only the first two show appear. No T61p.

    T61P has been taken out

    tomorrow T500 and W500 will be listed at lenovo.com

    i have seen the pricing they are amazing starting at $1700 uptp $2199 for the W500

    I priced one out yesterday and this morning it was gone. I went into my cache and was able to configure another one and add it to cart.
