    Will battery stretch be released for older Thinkpads?

    just looking at the new review, it seems as if the battery stretch is just a feature of Lenovo Power Manager and that it does not require anything that is unique to the T61 (but that might be wrong).

    do you think it will be released as a software update for current thinkpad users?

    I've read at LenovoBlogs that they also updated the T61's power circuitry to implement the battery stretch feature. So I don't think an update for older Thinkpads is gonna happen :/
