For some reason the T43 screen gave me headaches. Will the T60 be a different screen?

Dpends on what size screen you are talking about. The 15" T43 uses panels from LG, ID Tech, and Samsung. The 14" T43 uses panels from Hydis, Samsung, LG, TMD, CMO, and AUO.

If you have the FRU number of the LCD in the ThinkPad you didn't like, you can check it against the part numbers in the links above to see who manufactured your panel. You can then call up Lenovo and order a new laptop (and specifically request a specific screen [by it's FRU number] be used in your new machine)

Not sure of the makers of the T60 screens (there is no document yet on the Lenovo site). -

Where could I find the FRU if I don't have the laptop anymore?

If you have the packing slip, or something else with the laptop's serial number (like if you log into your account online and pull up the order/invoice), you can look up the FRUs that were used in your machine here:
