I really like the T60's regular aspect ratio screen for the work I do.

The thing is I need Firewire for multitrack audio recording. I read somewhere that the T60 simply won't work with a PCMCIA Firewire card.

I doubt this is true but figure I should ask before buying?

    Thanks,

    Mark

    I don't see why it wouldn't.

My T60 should be arriving next week. If you don't find out before then let me know and I'll give it a try. I have a firewire card that worked in my T21.

I found user review that you probably did. I'd suspect that if a card conforms to the PC Card spec (aka PCMCIA) the thinkpad won't have a problem with it.
