    I'm just wondering if later Z-series models will ship Windows Vista or will there be some XP SP3 coming out soon?

    The Z series which will be available soon, will not be shipping with Vista. Vista is not supposed to ship until next year. There are rumors it may be pushed back until 2007.

    The Z should come out in 3 or 4 weeks, I think, near the end of September. My guess is that SP3 may come out near the end of the year, when IE 7 ships. It just seems logical that way. Vista should come out anytime between 10/06 and 12/06, unless they delay it again. The Beta 2 may come out this December, though.
