    As John posted, the X61 is being replaced by the X200.

    I thought that Lenovo will maybe keep the 12.1 standard screen form factor. But I guess that's not going to happen.

    By the way, in the data sheet for the X200, I see lenovo quotes the battery life under XP. You think lenovo is going to make available x200 drivers for XP?

    Lenovo offering XP Pro could end any day down. Shipments of XP to OEMs from Microsoft ceased on June 30th, so Lenovo is probably using the last of the available copies they have.

    Business schools (i.e., mine) will ship XP ...

    In fact, the Tech department recommends XP over Vista!

    They will offer the Downgrade to XP option until people no longer request it, they just can't ONLY ship it with XP.
