I heard that some SSDs may produce Error 2100: HDD0 problem when installed on a Thinkpad gear.

    The two I am considering...

Newegg.com - OCZ Vertex Series OCZSSD2-1VTX60G 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Newegg.com - Kingston SSDNow V-Series SNV125-S2BD/64GB 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid state disk (SSD) Desktop bundled accessory kit

    1. Do you think they will work?

    2. If you have encountered the error: 2100 using SSD, may you share how you to solve it?

    3. I am planning to install my OS straight from my SSD. So can I just replace the HDD with SSD, and then install the OS?

    4. A side question: Which one would you rather to buy?

    Thank you.
