I'm planning to upgrade the RAM in my T500 from 4GB to 8GB and found this G.Skill at Newegg for $25: 8GB (2 x 4GB), 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600).
Should this work in my T500?
Or would this Crucial 8GB be better for $40: (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500)?
Thanks for your help.

Both will work; the first set will merely underclock to the maximum speed that the T500's chipset supports (1066MHz).

Thanks. That's what I thought but wanted confirmation. I'll go with the G.Skill and save $15.
[Edit]
Well, the G.Skill memory I linked sold out at Newegg before I placed my order, but I found the same Crucial memory at Buy.com for $32.95. Still not bad for 8GB of notebook memory. -
Yeah I saw this deal and too bad Newegg.ca doesn't offer the same deals.
I guess I will wait for boxing day before upping to 8gb ram. -
There's another sale on Patriot DDR3 1333MHz 8GB (4GB x2) modules at Newegg going on now. Not sure if it's applicable to Newegg Canada, though.
Will this G.Skill RAM work in my T500?
