A friend of mines looked over my laptop today and saw that I was loading like 20 tabs all at once. I have the setting to save when exiting on chrome and it will load up everything when opened again. He said that the extra stress will shorten the life of the processor and works at a computer repair store.
I do play some minor games that will kick up the processor temperature about 70C to 80C.
I have a T430 with the i5 3320m processor and 8gb ram. intel hd 4000.

Processors are incredibly resilient. The only real risk you'd have is if your cooling system was blocked or inadequate. On a T430, you should be fine.

I checked the heat sink and it is clear.

You'll be fine. The Ivy Bridge CPUs do run rather warm, I wouldn't worry about it unless the CPU gets up to 90C+ at full load.

Tjunction is 105 degC on ivy bridge, you are nowhere near that. Should be fine.
Will this kill a thinkpad t430?
