    What's difficult about popping the palm rest off? Granted, it would be more convenient to just have a door on the back, but I wouldn't call it difficult.

    Yeah it is actually very easy to do as long as you have a screwdriver. Just remove the four screws on the bottom of your laptop. Pull up on the palm rest. Just be careful with the fingerprint cable so you don't break that. Pop in the ram. Put everything back together and your done. It only takes 10 minutes max.

    Purchasing from lenovo.. will i get the the same type as the one my order came with? im trying to keep matching sticks. HM how do i figure out wat type of ram i have without opening the notebook?
