    I just installed a window 7 on X301.
I think all basic drives were installed.
But, I dont have Thinkvantage and all thinkpad software as well.
    1) Where to download those softwares and what else I need to install.
    2) For WiFi, I set as auto connect, but everytime I reboot, it cannot connect to network even though it shows "connected".
Need to disconnect and re-connect again in order to use network.
    3) Why there is a notepad after reboot everytime?
    "[.ShellClassInfo]............." Like that

    Thanks

You can try the Vista versions of the software, but since Windows 7 hasn't been release yet, you're probably going to have to wait for it to do so for better compatibility.

Notepad loading is a bug in the build of Win 7 that you have. There are instructions around (google 'mydigitallife' blog) to get rid of it, or you can update to one of the more recent builds.

Sorry I couldn't give the direct instructions.

    Thank you!
I just try to download some drivers from lenovo.com, and still disconnect sometime but better than before. Im not sure if it is my WiFi card problem or driver problem.
And, can I use the think vintage on Window 7? Where to download it since I cannot find anything on Lenovo.com? Or I need to extract from recovery discs.
    Thanks
