I currently have 32-bit version of Windows Vista business and I'm wondering if I can use the upgrade key to install 64-bit version of Windows 7?

Yes. You'll have to do a clean install though, no in-place upgrade.

See this thread for more info. See the Windows 7 forum here for other general Windows 7 questions.

If your computer has 64 bit hardware then I don't see why you wouldn't but just so you know you're going to need the 64 bit drivers. I did the same with my x61.

Yes my computer does have 64-bit hardware. So, do I basically understand it correctly that all I need to do is to order the upgrade media from MS and I put the dvd in and select clean installation and I can pick 64-bit version and it will work? I thought they had limited it someway that 32-bit users can't upgrade to 64-bit versio.
