Ive been having a problem on my T430 where windows explorer keeps freezing and doing weird stuff. Instead of showing thumbnails everything is just white and if I try to right click on something it will freeze. Usually this is fixed by just restarting my machine but then it starts doing it again within an hour or so. I have a Samsung 830 SSD if that makes any difference. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?

That happened to me on Windows 8 when I tried disabling a certain program from accessing the internet (Acronis True Image 2013). So it could be software related.

I had the same issue with an older build of Acronis True Image 2013. The problem disappeared with an update.
If you don't have TIB installed it's probably another backup tool that uses the Volume Shadow Copy Service to access files that are currently in use. -
I had acronis installed so I temporarily uninstalled it to see if the problem is fixed. Thanks for the input guys!
