Curious as to why IBM notebooks dont have a windows key?

Are there any buttons that the user could set up, to be used as the windows key.

I have no idea why IBM chose to exclude the Windows key?! I downloaded this driver from IBM.com. It allows you to pick a key to use as a Windows. I have mine set up for the right ALT key. This driver works with a vast majority of Thinkpads & Windows OS. It is also built into the Access IBM program ("Blue Button"). In your Windows Start-up programs (msconfig), it appears as "TpKmapAp."
