Hey guys, just wondering if you send a laptop into lenovo under warranty, will they reinstall windows 7 for you? I am going to send my laptop in for warranty this week but am unsure to reinstall windows myself, or let them do it there, if they are offering :)

I have heard from some that they may have an issue fixing a laptop that isn't running the factory installed OS and I have also heard that reinstalling windows 7 can be an issue with some lenovos as certain drivers are unavailable online.

    Thanks guys.

If it is a W7 computer then I don't see why they wouldn't.
If it is W8, keep it W8.

IMO, if it is a W7 computer ask them to upgrade it to W8, anyways.

What kind of money would I be looking at if they were to upgrade it for me? Thanks for the reply!
