    Hello,

I have a Lenovo 300 V100 laptop. I recently had a virus problem and I restored the system using the Sytstem recovery tool. The computer works great excepts that my wireless connection is not working anymore. It worked before I restored the system. The wireless status light is off. Whenever I switch on the wireless button on the right hand side of the computer, only the bluetooth light comes on. I upgraded my Access Connection to the latest version and still the same problem.

Can someone kindly help me solve this problem.

    Thanks

here is a guess- consider the possibility that you restored the system to a point before entering the password for the wireless connection.

also- some viruses are not eliminated by system restore.

What I meant is that I restored the system to factory settings.

Assuming that your guess is correct, how do you suggest that I correct it?

Thanks a lot for the reply

ah. well, if you restored to factory settings, the wireless passwords are definitely all gone. if the network you are trying to connect to requires a password, you will have to enter it upon trying to connect.

The problem is that it is not finding any network at all. I used another laptop which finds and connects to different connections from the same location.

    Thanks

try reinstalling the drivers for the network card. get them from the intel site. there are lots of reports of problems with the drivers supplied from lenovo.
