Wireless Question on Refurbs

My first post here. Looks like a great place.
I've learned a lot already.
I cannot find any info on my question by searching here.

I'm looking at refurbished R61 & T61 units.
*Many* of them do not have wireless, there is just a "-" shown.
Do they have the antenna installed anyway ?
If antenna is installed is there any problem adding a wireless card
and is the slot for it internal ?

Do you have a link to the units?

If theres no antenna that might be a problem, but if they are already there its very easy to add in a wireless card.

 

More than likely they have a WiFi card, but the only way to find the specifics on the machines is to call.

As ZaZ said, the best option is to call, or using the tabook maybe?

btw, I bought my thinkpad (specs in sig) a month ago, a little bit cheaper that the R61 you have linked.

 

Good grief, Needmore4less. Wonder how you got a T61 with all that for less than $600 ???

 

At first I thought it was a little bit onverpriced, I stared to look the stock on both the "New" systems and the refurbished ones, I found that the new ones were cheaper at that time, this one was a order from the University of Minnesota if I'm not wrong... at the end, I think I got a good deal on it considering the specs and the plus of be brand new. I've checked the outlet store since then and the prices are a little bit higher now than at that time, but I guess the extra bucks for a T400, is worth it.
