    zero,

how strong is your connection or link to the AP? If it is weak....maybe the connection link is marginal.

It's supposed to be blinking if it's working. If it turns off thats weird, what is the signal like stated in the prior post.

I don't think it suppose to be blinking because usually it does not.. but yeah the signal is weak :p

Well.. it works fine when connect to the good signal.

and it is weird turning itself off.

If you loose the connection and don't know it, power management will turn it off.

I went through hades trying to fix this. You have to alter ALL of your power plans to not turn the card off and in the device manager panel on the card properties panel set the card so that power management will not turn it off.

This still will not fix the problem.

I feel a little silly but one day I was rummaging around in the Lenovo software...

There was an obscurely labeled setting and after I looked at it I realized that could be the setting I had been looking for. I don't remember what the setting was however. I'm sorry but at the time I wasn't sure that was the setting and I had been through so much with it that I waited two weeks before I was sure.

The one word of advice is look in places where you don't think it's likely and you'll find it.

Renee, what if you go to Access Connections > Configure(tab) > Global settings > Network(tab) > Enable automatic wireless LAN radio control
