Heres my situation: I'm about to buy a new IBM t42. Besides using it for Computer Science classes, I will also be taking Networking Security(including wireless security). For experiments in the class I will need a mobile antenna(already found antenna I like here) So that means I will need a wireless network card that has an antenna jack. I can't find much detail on the cards to choose from IBM but I'm sure all of them don't have an antenna jack. Maybe the Cisco one but they don't give me a model number to check it out.

So if not I have to buy a seperate card. Most of these cards plug into PCMCIA slots. I can't find anywhere about what hardware slots come with the T42. Is there an extra PCI(or an PCMCIA) slot or should I not get a wireless card with the T42 and maybe I can use that PCI slot to install my new card?
