Hi, Just did a clean install using the guide and it worked fine.
Their was a program or utility i really dont know what it was but it showed me the distance of the wireless in my area. From the strongest to the weakest. It had a icon on the bottom right hand side.
So would anyone know anything about this? Or does anybody have that in there system and tell me what it is and where i can find that in the lenovo download.
    thanks in advance.

You are probably looking for "Access Connections." It should be easy to find on Lenovo's site.

It's not really showing distance although it looks like it is. It's showing the ration between signal strength and RSSI. You'll notice a regression line.

You could have a very weak signal that is very close physically that is represented in a way that implies that it is far away.

I've written identical software and I simply called the display "signal proximity", because that's what it is.
