I got our T60 and I am quite happy about it so it is a keeper, but I have notice something interesting and I would like to hear your opinion.

Lenovo says that after you open the box, you are subject of 15% restocking fee. The interesting thing is that when you open the box, the notebook is in plastic bag with white sticker telling you that once you start using it you have to agree with all the EULAs and if you do not agree you should return it for a FULL REFUND.

So is it possible for somebody not happy with their Lenovo to basically claim they didn't agree with the EULAs, which can be seen and accessed only after the box is opened to receive a full refund?

Catch-22...my suggestion is to keep calling until you get that friendly-enough rep that is willing to not charge you. If you cannot get that, BBB them.

Yea, it sucks...those of you who have to undergo this will have some issues. But yea, definitely good to know.

This reminds me of when a Dell customer decided to install Linux, reject the MS XP EULA, and had a month or two battle to finally get a refund of the OS cost.
