Is anyone having any luck running WiC on a T61p? The demo craps out on me, but I wonder if the main release (to which updates have been released) will work...

Most of the time actually its the other way around, usually the demo doesnt have some grapihcal features that the full has, but also patches could even things out, so really its a crap shoot. I'd suggest borrowing the full from someone, patching it and seeing.

I went through the tutorial in the demo without problems and started to play a game without problems. Where did the problems show up? I am running Forceware 163.75 drivers. I did have to run full resolution (1680x1050 for me) or I had mouse problems.

It runs great on mines. You might have to update your drivers

I ran the demo with the Quadro drivers and it ran fine. Perhaps you need a driver update, or a reinstall.

Regardless, the full version of the game should run just fine on your laptop.

The demo tutorial ran fine, but the game crapped out in single player mission mode.

I have the most recent fx 570m drivers, at least according to nVidia.

I'm beginning to suspect it might be the fact that I'm running Vista x64.

(I know, duh. Should have suspected that from the get go, right?)
