My T61 finally shipped the other day, and it's slated for delivery today, and I just had a thought. Given all the trouble with WUSB and machines shipping without it, I'm wondering something. Lenovo stopped offering the WXGA+ screens on their site just before my laptop shipped, do I have to worry that my system (7662-CTO) got stuck with a WXGA (1280x800) screen? Would they do that? Or am I just being paranoid? The screen is no longer listed on the invoice saying that it shipped, otherwise I'd just check there. WXGA is too low resolution for me, if that's what they sent me, I'm afraid I'll have to send it back, and that will be the end of the ThinkPad saga for me, I need a computer for school.

Well, if they did that you can complain that they shipped you a lower end model and not what you ordered. If they screwed that up I'm sure you could get an exchange or refund.

Mistakes happen, but I wouldn't worry about it too much...until the laptop gets there. Check and see if there is anything wrong, but there is no use in worrying about it now. You'll just get your blood pressure up for nothing ;)

If it got sent with a wrong configuration, you can't do anything about it now so just wait. If there's a problem, return it and then fill out the FAQs and we'll find you a good laptop you could pick up in a brick and mortar store.

well I went ahead and looked up my FRU for the LCD, it appears to be a WXGA+ screen. The FRU is 13N7108, could somebody please confirm this?

    I'm hoping I am just paranoid :)
