    If they made some sort of special Y400 model with the nice quality 900p screen the carbon used I could see this being a really amazing laptop. Even if it cost another 150-200 over the base model I could see this being popular.

    I wonder if it would be possible to do the upgrade aftermarket?

    Lenovo should had use 900p screen for Y400.
    Then it should have been direct competitor to Alienware M14X R2.
