    Well it's going to drain your battery faster, yeah, as you're using more power.


    I dunno if it would really hurt your overall battery lifespan. Maybe a bit as you'll probably be recharging more often.

    In general, overclocking laptops is not a good idea because they are designed for a very specific heat tolerance. If you increase the heat output even slightly through overclocking, the cooling system may not be able to handle it.

    Leave that up for lenovo to decide, mate. You'll atleast have the comfort that you can complain to customer service for lieing to you if you did in fact "void the warrenty".

    If you don't know what you are doing then yes, OCing your GPU will get you in trouble and will negatively affect (not effect) your battery performance.

    If you damage your GPU through overclocking and they find out, they will refuse to repair. So yes, technically it will void your warranty but it's hard for them to tell that was the cause unless you screwed up really badly. Also, it's not going to affect your battery life unless you game while on battery, since it automatically downclocks to low power mode.

    what software can you use to overclock the t400 gpu? I tried atitool atitraytool, rivatuner... none of them work!!!!
