Same, only Thinkpad. And no not Edge or SL or anything that diverged too much from the classic design. I thought it will look really ugly, but now I seem to like the industrial design. Good machine and seems it will last a while.

Count me among the Thinkpad but not Lenovo fans. My experience with Lenovo was less than stellar, but well worth it for the X201 I'm typing on now. I know for future reference, if ordering CTO from Lenovo, order before I absolutely need the unit. Turnaround wasn't as bad as it could have been - they were trying to push my delivery to middle of the month - but it could have been better.

I've been buying Thinkpads since I, as a boy of no more than 12, first laid eyes on a lone Thinkpad 560x at a local computer swap meet. That little black slab followed me home, rather than any of its shinier table-mates, (much to my mother's chagrin) and I've been a Thinkpad fan ever since. My X41 was the first "Lenovo" marked system I owned, and it was rock solid. My current X201 keeps up the tradition well. I do miss seeing IBM over the Thinkpad plates in the lower corner, but at least I didn't get a raised "LENOVO" silkscreened onto the back of the lid as I've seen on the X200's lids.

I actually use an IBM thinkpad t42, it's still working nicely and I'm not in a hurry to buy a new one. But I think that this year I will need a new notebook. I'm waiting for the T420(s) and the MBP 13 to be revealed and then decide for one of those I think.

I currently have a T60 which I love. I had an X40, but I sold it once I got my T60. When I got this computer, it was an off-lease but in immaculate condition.

I want to get an X201 in the near future, I just need to unload a few of my other notebooks first.

I heard they offered a 1440x900 on the x201s if your interested, but it is a 12 inch so it might not be for everyone.

1440x900 on a 12" may be too dense. Anyhow, the X201s was discontinued not too long after it was released.

I would definitely buy another Lenovo Thinkpad, but a Lenovo I think not. I just love the way Thinkpads look, the cool retro computer look that never gets old. I actually showed my friend my new notebook today, the first thing he said was "Did you get a new notebook? Oh, wait it's old." Thinkpads are so awesome. :D Only computer geeks and business professionals love the look.

I don't usually label people, but let's just say I am both a "computer geek" and a "business professional." I have had various computers, including a growing collection of ThinkPads, but I don't "love" the ThinkPad "look." Look is not everything, nor do I have allegiance to any manufacturer. I only use the tool that is suitable for the job. I don't identify with the tool.
