    Hey all,

I know most wouldn't dare to buy an off brand battery (nor would I), but I was wondering if it was a big deal for the AC adapter as well.

Lenovo sells them for 59.99 plus shipping, and "replacement" adapters are selling on fleabay for half of that with shipping.

I'm just looking to buy an extra one to leave in my backpack at all times.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jonathan.

If it's made for your laptop, that should be fine. But I really only recommend those made for your laptop, if something were to go wrong with the laptop cause of the power supply, it's not going to be covered under your warranty.

i use a targus and igo universal all the time. never had any problems with any laptop, camera, or portable electronics device. as long as the power supply has the correct wattage and you have the right tip, you should be good to go.
