I was just reading a PC related magazine and I saw a two pages advertisement that claim lenovo's thinkpad series laptop's rollcage structure is designed by F1 engineers...

    Is this really true...?

Probably designed by an engineer who watches F1.

The only way to be certain would be to strap Michael Schumacher's butt to a T series and hurdle him against a retaining wall at 180 mph! :D

    F... Ferarri! Go Renault!

It wouldn't surprise me, engineers tend to jump all around. And the experience would certainly be applicable.
