When I use an external CRT screen I see a problem very similar to the one decribed here Clock and phase - Lagom LCD test

the right one of the first top example, not that severe but extremly visible when looking at a dark square on white background or similar.

I´m at 85 hz now and it gets better at 75, and even better still at 60hz but that is totally unusable, I can still see it though.

    What is causing the problem?

Just to clarify, I don´t have any problem with the test picture on that site in that particular test, but on everything else. The examples were just very close to the problem I´m having here.

    How can I fix it?

    Anyone else have this problem?

I have tried 3 different cables now so that is eliminated, I also can´t remember ever seeing this with several other computers with this screen.

    This sucks.
