I have been running Windows 8 on my X1C since day 1 of receiving it. Everything is fully functional with the exception of the microphone. I have tried every combination of stock Windows 8 drivers, standard drivers from Lenovo, and Lenovo's beta drivers. Nothing has worked.

Has anyone here successfully gotten the microphone to work with Windows 8? This is especially annoying since I use Google Talk for most of my business calls.

    thanks,
