Hi all,
I've been observing this forum since I've received my X1 Carbon. Its a great machine, but I've just startred having an issue. Everytime I close my lid and open it back up after a few minutes, the computer is black screened and wont allow me to log back in. If I leave it for a while, it will have an "unexpected shutdown" and reboot and give me the problem details once it gets to homescreen.
These are the details:
Problem Event name: Blunescreen
OS VERSION: 6.1.7601.2.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033
BC CODE: 9F
BCP1: 0000000000000003
BCP2: FFFFFA8004149060
BCP:FFFFF80047733D8
CP4:FFFFFA8003B0B010
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1
A couple of things that might be coincidental, or the cause?
1) I'm having access connecting to the internet from where I've been this weekend. It keeps having limited access to the network, while other computers can connect.
2) The day the symantec anti virus trial ended, this began.
3) I use a lot of web storage services (google drive, skydrive) and maybe they're trying to connect when I close the computer?
If anyone can help me, I'd be very thankful!
Best,
ER

Also, when it is closed and I unplug the charger, the charging light indicator on the outside stays lit outside for some reason. Not sure if thats related but it shouldn't behave that way from my understanding of the computer.

I have a similar issue. Did a fresh install of Windows 8, and every time the machine has woke up from sleep mode the USB ports are disabled and I have to reboot the machine to get them working again. However, after a sleep the machine will not shut down properly, and after a while the system reboots itself with an error message after start.
Annoying.

I had a similar problem on my t410s ... and the problem was that the battery was having some connectivity issues, I put tape on the laptop to hold the battery in place (yes tape) and it works perfectly now.
