    Lenovo has "fixed" their lineup of notebooks and restocked the i7s, when when clicking on the customize for the $1500 i7 4gb model, a $1630 i7 8gb model comes up instead....

    Not sure if this is a glitch though.

    any info on the IPS touch/non-touch screen availability? I see some reviewers mention that according to lenovo, IPS panels will become available for X1 at some point.

    That's true. But if the source is reputable and directly mentions words apparently spoken by a Lenovo representative, then there is little reason to disbelieve.
