    From what was reported in the channel partner event, it will have the same CPU option as the normal X1 ThinkPads.

    Hmm... I assumed Media Mode to be an Android based system...

    Reminds me of the laptops of yore that could play CDs without being turned on.

    You can do Android on x86. Though I can't see gaining 2x battery life by changing the OS...

    Manufacturers tend to be overly optmistic with regards to battery life. Unless it's now got an IPS screen, I can't see why one would pick it over the X220.

    Nope. Key technical blunder for that machine. It's the main reason I don't have an X1.

    from past experiences Lenovo probably won't make that a reality. I think lenovo should have reserved the feature for the X2.
