This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    X1 Carbon seem like the most popular Lenovo model. Bestbuy and Lenovo Outlet totally sold out for all refurbs and discounted X1's.

    Even some new ones seem to be selling well or sold out at some places.

    I would guess the X1 is the favorite choice now in terms of customers as Lenovo has highest marketshare. The X1 is what I like too, but I am disappointed in that new ones don't have the infrared camera yet in USA and WQHD display ones are still delayed.

    Since the delay is ongoing, I am going to see if a faster intel processor comes out for the X1 Kaby Lake or I'll wait for Coffee Lake, or see if Lenovo adds an Amd option.
