With my old T60, I had no issues with the X1300 in my advanced dock.

    The T61... didn't work.

Now I have a new T400. Will it work? If so, what is the 'trick'? I like to use the laptop display plus 2 external monitors at the same time.

    Thanks!

try forum.thinkpads.com instead, most of the Thinkpad power users go there.

Also, the X1300 GPU is such outdated GPU, and for the sake of getting two extra monitor output, people could just used 2 Lenovo usb2dvi converter.

To close the loop, I went with the Lenovo (part # 45K5296) USB to DVI Monitor Adapter and I can now throw away the X1300.

    Thanks!
