Considering how we all bought the X1C substantially due to its svelteness and light weight, it makes sense that we'll would like a well fitting sleeve and a backpack to carry it!

That said, i've struggled to find a "best fitting sleeve" and a TSA compliant backpack (i.e. one that would butterfly open so one need not remove the laptop for TSA x-ray purposes).

I've always thought that sleeves where the zipper opening is at the short edge (vertical sleeve) makes more sense for backpacks, and horizontal sleeves (zipper on the long end) makes more sense for messenger-styled bags. That is because for backpacks, one would slide in the sleeve vertically, so if the zipper is on the top edge (short edge), we don't have to remove the entire sleeve in order to take out the laptop -- all one needs to do is to unzip it and leaving the sleeve inside the laptop compartment of the backpack, just slide out the laptop.

It would be great if we'd share our thoughts on which sleeves/backpacks best fit our most slender of laptops, the X1C.

    Thanks.
