This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Are you going back to law school? 983 dollars isn't a bad price. My friend whom uses MBP 13 inch machines love the machine and its portability, he also loves the new keyboard format (i am not so keen on the key layout).

    Personally i am surprised at how cool the cpu runs and the lack of any whirling sound from the fan even when doing CAD and Photoshop.

    If Lenovo would to improve on the quirks, then it would have a winner on its hand.

    -i.e. HD+ LCD
    -no rubber port cover (a useless gimmick)
    -dual ram slots
    -and slightly modified trackpoint system.

    Then this laptop could be loved by Thinkpadders and Non-thinkpadders alike.
