Looks too good to be true or am I missing something.
Posted here looking for an laptop when i enter business school in August: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=368552

The x200 looks to be my best bet for a light, powerhouse with good build quality. I would love to have everything maxed out at the Lenovo store online, however i came across this in the Outlet:
    http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Le...45lv01phd&caTitle=ThinkPad X200 with Free Bag

I would love the XP downgrade, but it doesn't appear there are any in the Outlet. Additionally, a SATA HD would be ideal and it appears this one has a 200g SATA. However, none of the options at the store show the RPM, so seems a bit odd.

Am i being paranoid that this is a stripped down or misleading version of the x200? Would a call to the outlet do me justice?

Everything looks fine to me. It is a SATA HDD, all Tx00 and Xx00 have SATA II hard drives. Infact, this is the one with built in hardware encryption...that option usually goes for a lot. I think that laptop is a steal for $1,200. Since it comes preloaded with Vista Business, when you receive it you should be able to contact lenovo support for the XP downgrade option since Business and Ultimate editions are the only editions where the downgrade is available (and free)
