The keyboard is one of the most important reasons I'm going for a Thinkpad. I was wondering if there are any differences among the X200 series in terms of the keyboard quality. Are they all high-quality keyboards with zero flex or are there different variants of keyboards on the same model? Any comments regarding the X200 keyboards and typing experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

After the T400/T500 keyboard fiasco (which has been very nicely resolved by Lenovo) I haven't heard any complaints of keyboard quality in any of the Thinkpads - the X200 should be just as solid as the others (maybe even more so, seeing as there's less empty space in a smaller notebook).

The x200 keyboard is of extremely high quality. There can be a quite variation in feel depending on the keyboard manufacturer (ALPS, NMB, Chicony) but all are great and I haven't heard any complaints about flex. I believe the x200 uses a similar weight reduced keyboard design as the T400, but due to the smaller/firmer chassis it doesn't cause any problems.
