I am still chasing that AFFS screen HV121WX4-120 waiting to hear if I finally found a source. Zaz was your model number as above but with 110 at the end ?

I pretty much agree with everything about my new X200. I just found out that mine has the LED backlit panel (I think, if anyone knows how to confirm) which means no swapping for the AFFS for me. Aw shucks, oh well lol.

You can use the parts look up to determine the screen. There's a link in the sticky.

Does the ultrabase always come with DVD writer or is that a plug in. I know it has some extra ports and speakers but may not need it ... charging an extra battery would be handy but then again you cant really take the ultrabase on the road, defeats the purpose of ultra portable !

Also looks like the X200s may be a little few grams heavier than advertised since it uses same LCD as X200 here in Europe incuding a webcam.

Thanks Jon. Looks like I may not need it first up ... eagerly awaiting the arrival of my X200s. I see some problems are reported with the X201 series so I am happy to go for the older model. Just need that AFFS screen.

Ahhhh just heard from a company in China re the screen and they SOLD OUT. Bummer ! I may have to go gloss?
