When somebody gets their X200 Tablet, could they report whether there are heat issues like the X61 Tablet?

If you're note-taking, heat must be really annoying. I'm debating cancelling my X61 Tablet for a X200 Tablet if it's significantly cooler.

I think you could draw comparisons of the x200t to the x200...the x61 had heat issues and the x200 does not. Or was there some tablet specific heat issue on top of the wifi one in the x61 that i don't know about o.o.

The x200 regular runs very cool. The x200s and x200t should run cooler still due to the low voltage processor (they are otherwise identical). I am not sure what wi-fi issue you are referring to, but the Intel 5100 on mine connects quickly, has good range, and holds a stable connection (I have only tried B/G networks so far).

I think the x200t is a very good machine, and I am actually considering getting one myself. I was dissatisfied with the screen quality on my x200 (see this thread) and will probably switch to an x200s or x200t because they have superior screens.

There are several key differences between the x200t and x61t.

    x61t:
    Cheaper
4x3 aspect screen (closer analogue to paper)
    1400x1050 resolution available (144 DPI)
    Nav Dial
    Firewire
    PCMCIA

    x200r:
    Runs cooler
    Slightly faster
GMA 4500 (DX10 compliant, accelerates HD video decoding)
    ExpressCard 54mm/34mm
    Better Battery life
0.4 lbs. lighter with 8 cell
    Full size keyboard
    16x10 screen
    1280x800 only
    LED backlit
Much brighter screen (285 nits vs. 190 nits, important outdoors)
    Camera Optional

I mean the overheating caused by the Wifi card supposedly.

I would not expect there to be any Prince_Phoenix. The x61 exhibited these issues and the x200 does not. So I do not see why the x200t or s would have the issues. However, some users say that on the setting for maximum performance the wifi card does get hot...but most of us have it on power saving (which has little performance differences).
