The dock accepts DVD drives and such, I really want a light scribe enabled drive. Are there any aftermarket DVD drives that I can install into this UB? Maby I could even snag a used one and throw it in there? I hate the fact that you pay $200 for a piece of plastic with a few extra ports, then have to shell out another 200 for a 10 year old piece of technology to fit in there.

The problem is that they have a new sata connector so i dont think there there is anything you can use aside from them :(. If you are not wanting to buy it, I would go with a usb external dvdrw.
