X200 webcam

I was wondering if anyone had ordered an X200 around or before the 22nd of August and remember if there was a webcam option from the Canadian site. I don't quite remember when configuring mine if there was one or not. I don't want to miss out on a feature that's free, as now when I configure an X200 there is a webcam option which you can't deselect. (as in you have to get it) The American site has the screen listed as "12.1 WXGA (1280x800), 2x2 UltraConnect II antenna , WWAN, Camera", but the Canadian site only says "12.1 WXGA TFT" and lists the camera option in another category.

 

I ordered my X200 on August 27 but i was informed that they basically made it a standard configuration for the X200 and they just didn't have the opportunity to add the changes in to show camera selected. I ordered it from the Canadian site.

It basically took me the week of August 17 to get a firm response about the webcam.

 

Thanks, I'm just a little paranoid waiting for such a long time for my X200 to finally arrive. Basically mine SHOULD come with a webcam?

 

yes it should if you want absolute proof.. go on lenovo chat and ask them.. then ask them to copy and paste the chat dialogue and send you an e-mail for proof.
