Hi all, I've been having some issues with my wireless network connection...
Currently running Windows 7 x32 with the Intel 5100AGN card and the latest driver version from Lenovo's site (rest of specs in sig). I have no issues connecting to 802.11g or draft-N networks as well as wired ethernet. However, I do have an old D-Link 802.11b access point (DWL-900AP+) in one room which is in turn hooked up via an ethernet connection (through the walls of the house) to a Netgear 802.11g wireless router. I can connect to the router wireless network just fine. When connecting to the B access point, it allows me to get on the network but have very slow speeds. Most webpages do not load at all. I can ping external sites alright. I have verified and am 99% sure there is some packet loss somewhere along the chain between my computer and the AP. Other computers have no issues with connections and I am able to use the internet by taking the AP's cable and directly hooking it up to my computer. I have tried enabling/disabling and also reinstalling the wireless driver. Any ideas please? Thanks!
Edited to add: this is a relatively new issue...started coming up about a week ago - did nothing out of the ordinary, no driver updates etc.

since when the AGN card can function in B wireless mode??? -
Well it's really ABGN (correct me if I am wrong but A and B are pretty similar)...
But actually I managed to resolve the issue. Most would call it a last resort, but I did reset the TCP/IP stack as described in this Microsoft KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357. Now my wireless is working well.
I have yet to pinpoint the cause of this though... -

Nope, the only thing remotely close to interfering would be a TV. When it was not functioning it did seem to be only an issue with my computer - a T400 in the house with an ABG card was able to connect normally. I guess there was just something messing with the TCP/IP stack and jamming it up...thanks for your help though.
