Hey, I'm after a notebook for uni that can run xp/vista/visual studio. I was looking at the x61/t but I saw the reviews for the x200 and its incredible battery life and I figure that's the go since I'm not really sure what a tablet can do in the way of taking accurate and long notes.

Does anyone know the release date in Australia? I haven't seen it on the site and the Lenovo Thinkpad site ( http://www-604.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...6&catalogId=-36&langId=036&categoryId=2056943) hasn't been loading for the past day.

    Thanks

It is already available for sale in Australia (ThinkPad X200 745533M), but the online store is screwed up at the moment. Just call them up to order.
