    Have notcied my x200 runs at full brightness at startup or restart even if set to half in control panel not updated graphics idea and don't want to reinstall windows.. started doing it yesterday

    any ideas?

    Did you recently install the new version of Power Manager, via Lenovo System Update? Regardless, that's one of the better places to set brightness.
