Installed another 4GB RAM in my Lenovo x200 the other day.
Since then I've had a noticeably performance loss.

For instance IE used to open on 1-1½ seconds from click to ready window. Now it takes 5-6 seconds.
Over all the maschine just feels a bit sluggish.

    Any suggestions why?

I have 8GB in mine, sorry can't tell if it's slow because I also put in a SSD.

Looking at CPU-Z my ram is running symmetric mode with FSB/DRAM ratio of 1:2

    Mine as well.
Well, how many seconds from you click the explorer icon, 'till you got your homepage ready?

See if it was a coincidental thing: remove the additional RAM and see if performance is restored. If so, then try using only one of the sticks of new RAM (ie: one 4GB stick) and see if performance is normal.
