I just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and everything went smoothly, for the most part. One thing that i notice, is that upon turning the x200 tablet on (or after restarting), the credentials (fingerprint & password) request screen is always in portrait mode! This never happened when i was using Vista. I have to press the tablet button to rotate the screen to the proper/default landscape mode.

If i don't press the tablet button to rotate the screen, and log in while the screen is in portrait mode, the screen eventually automatically rotates to the correct position. So it's not that big of a deal, but annoying nonetheless!

FYI - After installing Windows 7, i used Lenovo's System Update to download all the relevant drivers/software.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    Adam

I've noticed this from time to time as well, but it does not happen all the time. I think it's most common when I shut down the tablet when in portrait mode, and then restart in normal mode.

You can also try the Intel display driver shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow) and see if that works on the login screen as well.

Thanks Jon, as usual, for the quick reply.

It happens when i shut down or restart the PC in normal mode as well.

Do you recommend i uninstall/reinstall the tablet button drivers?
