    Hi,

I have 8 Cell 42T4658 Model. Only change to default config is 80GB Intel SSD running Win 7 X64. It used to last more then 6 hrs when bought new back in July 09, but for past few months it drains in less then 2 hrs with simple browsing.

What are my options please suggest. I have warranty till 07/12 but don't think battery would be covered under it. I did try recondition (charge, drain, charge) but didn't help.

    Thanks

What's the cycle count and remaining charge capacity?

    Cycle Count: 113
    Full Charge Capacity: 61.91 Wh
    Design Capacity: 66.24 Wh

I never undervolted this machine. I did it today and max temp stands at 75 C and currently sitting at 59 C. If this helps.

    This is pretty interesting
    My T410's readings are:
    Design Capacity: 56.16 Wh
    Full Charge Capacity: 59.69 Wh

And it lasts over 3 hrs without any issues.

    Please suggest.

Perhaps you should look in task manager to see if there's a rogue process that's hitting the CPU. My four cell goes about three hours on medium settings.
