The Lenovo Outlet has several NEW X200s systems starting at $1,028!!! At that price, they have the 1.2GHz Intel SU9300 processor and few upgrades, but you still get the awesome 12.1" 1440x900 LED-backlit display. It's a nice discount from the $1,670 starting price on the regular Lenovo site- LINK

There are a few with the 1.86GHz SL9400 upgrade starting at $1,183- LINK. An identical new one configured on the regular site is $1,963....this is a STEAL!

    You can use this service

    http://www.myus.com/index.shtml

I have never used them, I just came across them and thought it would be cool for those outside USA.

Holy crap! I just bought an X200T from them last week, else I'd jump on this. For those who need and can afford it, don't hesitate.

What a great idea ... I will check them out ...sounds good ...maybe I may save some cash here ! Though I cannot escape the 19 to 22% VAT they will charge when my system comes into Europe. However that may still make it cheaper, and more options !

Make sure it's got IWS otherwise you'll have no warranty service.

Shipito is another such service, though I don't have any personal experience with them either. I bought my T400 five months ago directly from Lenovo in the US and had it sent to Europe. I used a mail forwarding service run by a Czech company (that's why I haven't attached a link, their website is in Czech only). Luckily, everything went smoothly in my case. I could configure the laptop with exactly the specs I wanted and paid significantly less even with VAT included. If you intend to follow this path, don't forget to check, whether the particular machine is covered by an international warranty in your country. See International Warranty Service.
